New Pedestrianisation of King’s Parade

Cambridge City Council has been developing a trial scheme to enhance public safety along King’s Parade in Cambridge by restricting traffic at certain times of day- working hard to keep us all safe in 2020!

From 9:30 to 7 pm every day King’s Parade will now be closed to vehicles.

The nearest car-park is at Grand Arcade, Corn Exchange Street CB2 3QJ. There are loading bays close to the gallery, at Peas Hill all day (directly beside the Arts Theatre) and on the Market Square after 4 pm. Both spots are marked in pink on the map below. We have a trolley and willing staff on hand for all deliveries and collections.

We also have two beautiful new bike racks directly outside the gallery, meaning you can now cycle to us with all your artistic needs! Let’s make Cambridge a greener city.

And if you really need to park on King’s Parade, we are happy to open the gallery at 9 am by appointment only.
