Frames and Mounts – To protect your artwork here at Byard, all our framing is done to a recognised conservation standard using high quality materials which are acid free and non-ageing. For particularly vulnerable pieces we can offer museum conservation framing using cotton core mountboard and Japanese hinging tapes.
Glass – We use 2mm float glass as standard. However, we can offer you a range of non-reflective and UV filter glass. Look at our samples and discuss options with us, we are here to help. We also offer a re-glazing service.
Textiles – We can stretch and re-stretch canvases as well as frame textiles such as samplers, embroideries, tapestries and silks. We can pin these delicate works to foam core board or lace them around acrylic, easing them into shape before putting into a frame of your choice.
