Growing up in Orkney, Grace spent a lot of her childhood on the beach searching for pebbles, driftwood and shells. She aims to capture something of this unique place in each piece she creates. She often begins her creative process collecting and studying objects she finds on the beach. These objects inform the colours, textures and compositions of her jewellery. Pebbles are combined with silver and enamel to create beautiful, distinctive jewellery. She uses subtle, translucent enamels to depict the sun-bleached colours she observes on the shoreline.
Grace now lives and works on the coast in Fife but returns to Orkney frequently to visit family and gather information for her work.
She exhibits worldwide.
