Style & Technique
Anita Klein’s style is instantly recognisable. Bold yet tender, graphic yet soft. Working across linocut, acrylic and oil, she distils scenes from her own life into archetypal moments that speak to love, solitude, joy and connection.
Her figures are full of weight and presence, often placed within domestic or natural settings. Inspired in part by religious frescoes and classical art, her use of flattened perspective and strong outlines gives her work a timeless, almost iconic feel.
Whether it’s a mother cradling a child or a couple sharing breakfast, Anita’s work elevates the ordinary into something poetic and deeply human.
