Lee Madgwick is a long term artist with contemporary art gallery Byard Art Cambridge and this is his fourth solo show with the gallery. His haunting paintings depict scenes of dereliction, abandonment and seclusion both in urban and rural settings. His oil and acrylic on canvas paintings have been popular both in the gallery and at Affordable Art Fairs worldwide and are available to purchase through the Own Art Scheme. Come and delve into these mysterious narratives. Accompanied by sculptural ceramics by established artist Angela Mellor whose new works seek to suggest movement of tidal currents against the shoreline and the corresponding interplay of light and shade using bone china paperclay.
