“Rosalyn studied Textiles at university in East Anglia, where she specialised in constructing materials through knitting unconventional yarns creating sculptural textiles. Through understanding her passion for sculptural materials, she continued her studies learning metal working techniques such as gold and silversmithing. Bringing her two disciplines together she is now on an exciting journey creating her own collections of contemporary jewellery. All of Rosalyn‘s work is hand made in her studio in Bristol, Somerset.”
“Rosalyn’s jewellery derives from her passion for constructing textiles using the timeless techniques of knitting, weaving and twists. Rosalyn transforms her textiles into precious metals, bringing a sculptural element to the material. These elements are then assembled and embellished with precious and semi-precious stones, creating movement, intricacy and culminating in delicate, wearable jewellery pieces.’
