Mud + Water Ceramics

“Our style is Victorian High Tea with a splash of Tim Burton darkness. We gravitate towards rich colours and lots of pattern – florals and foliage. Each piece is unique and designs are made only in small batches.”

Mud + Water Ceramics was formed in 2017 on the Cambridgeshire and Essex borders, by Gaëlle Curtin and Lynn Parsons. The artists call it a kitchen table business- the idea was thought up around a kitchen table, the works are often created on the same surface, and objects made often find their home there again. Ceramics include handmade stoneware for everyday use, decorative raku pieces and ceramic art dolls.

Mud + Water are a regular part of the Cambridge makers landscape. They can be found at All Saints Garden Art & Craft Market, as well as at Cambridge Folk Festival and at many local Christmas craft fairs.
