Lynne Strover Gallery was one of the UK’s leading provincial British Contemporary Art Galleries. With little money, negligible experience, and a strong love of art she started the Gallery as a way of supporting herself and her two young sons. As the curator, dealer, and owner it was a more rewarding career than she could have ever imagined.
Through building relationships with artists and master artisans like Jim Partridge, Breon O’Casey, Guy Royle, She has acquired a greater knowledge of art, and a deeper understanding of craft and composition. Due to the deep learning curve, it became vital for her to broaden her own aesthetic and she chose jewellery to be her medium. All her pieces use high quality materials and are slowly and individually crafted making each item unique.
She is delighted to see her recent collection of necklaces and earrings displayed in Byard Art on Kings Parade in Cambridge.
