History
Style & Technique
Louise’s work is project-based, with each piece created as a unique, hand-built object exploring a specific theme or question. She uses a range of hand-building techniques, particularly slab building and mould making, supported by an extended process of research, drawing, and experimentation. Custom press-moulds, stamps, and carefully adjusted glazes are used to achieve the desired surface and finish, with each piece undergoing multiple firings, including a final gold lustre and decal firing.
