Bio
Inspired by forms in the natural world, Jill hand builds larger pieces and throws and alters others. Clays and slips are from Devon and Cornwall and she uses imagery seen locally and drawn in sketchbooks on her travels abroad. She experiments with clays and creating new slip colours and prefers firing with gas reduction, for the alchemy of unpredictable results.
