Emma Taylor
Emma uses books to create intricate sculptures drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources including the natural world, literary themes, and architecture; with a particular fascination with trees, they feature heavily in her work. The often-minute detail of her sculptures draws the viewer into the scenes she creates which emerge from the pages of relevantly themed books.
Having exhibited her work in Cambridge and art fairs in London and Hong Kong since 2013, Emma took a few years away from sculpture to complete a degree in History of Art at University College London which has since informed the development of her sculptural work.
