Danika Vautour is an emerging artist from Saint John, New Brunswick and is currently residing in Cambridgeshire.
She graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design where she received her Diploma in Ceramics (2017) and her Certificate in Foundation Visual Arts (2015). During her time at the College she also studied photography, drawing, and painting. In her studio practice, she uses a variety of mediums to create pieces that reflect the way she sees everyday life. She is currently exploring new ceramic materials while working on developing her portfolio.
Her most recent pieces are wheel-thrown using a white stoneware clay that is then fired to 1238 degrees centigrade. She glazes her pieces
using a beautiful range of neutrals with simple and elegant forms that would complement anyone’s home.
