Born in 1949 on the Clyde Coast of Scotland, Printmaker and Painter Colin Moore originally studied Architecture in Glasgow. He enjoyed a career in architecture and design, working and living abroad in Venezuela and Spain until 2002, where he changed direction towards printmaking and painting. His work has been exhibited at a number of galleries and art fairs, including Thompsons Gallery, London, The Bristol Art Fair, Rostra and Rooksmoor Gallery, Bath and our gallery in Cambridge. He is a founder of Tile Kiln Studios and is a member of the Southbank Printmakers Association. Colin wrote his first book ‘Propaganda Prints: A History of Art in the Service of Social and Political Change’ published by A & C Black of London in 2010.
