Carol Banks

Jeweller

Biography

Carol Banks grew up in the Cambridgeshire Fens exploring the beautiful outdoors and foraging for natural objects. To this day, she remains heavily inspired by nature and the patterns found in flowers, fauna and shells. She applies this inspiration to her work, producing unique silver clay jewellery that ranges from ginko style earrings to violet freshwater pearl necklaces. After working in a pottery studio Carol graduated in Art at Cambridge University, and exhibited her first painting at the age of 43. She regularly showcases her bespoke pieces in galleries and shops across the UK, and is a participating member of the Cambridge Open Studios.
