Anya Keeley graduated in Design Crafts from Hereford College in 2000 and now works from her studio in Hereford. Her whimsical works of art are inspired by fairy tales, nursery rhymes and the curiousness of the natural world. Anya integrates found objects, ephemera, buttons, brass and iron wire into her work, using various wire-work and assemblage processes. Shortly after graduating she received the ‘Brian Hatton Award’, and the AA2A residency with Hereford College. In 2011 she also received the ‘Best Stand Award’ at the Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey, Devon. Her work has been exhibited and sold through art galleries and craft fairs across the UK.
