Inspired by a combination of repetitive forms and paper art, every piece in Alice’s Square Roots collection begins life as one or two square sheets of responsibly sourced, recycled silver. Nothing is subtracted from these sheets, with the aim of drawing complex beauty from simplicity. Each one is pattern cut by hand, then folded and formed into a 3D item of contemporary jewellery.
Alice grew up in London, studied at the Birmingham School of Jewellery, and now lives on the south coast in Brighton. She spent 10 years working within the jewellery trade before designing and making her own jewellery range.
